It’s still the white t’shirt that we hunt for decade after decade as people, for this summer i think I found a decent one for my my kids J + D 16 and 12. They want a plain white t’shirt. With no  collars that hang or loose their shape, doesn’t pill, not baggy, not too thin and a little longer. Well I think I found them for this summer, The Eddy Bauer, Legend Wash, 18.95 or $ 5,- off when you buy 2. It’s not organic, Eddy Bauer is from here, but these are  not made in the USA. It’s a nice slimmer fit, but not tight, thicker cotton, but not too beefy and collar is nicer since it’s cotton and not that fake stretchy/cotton, if you know what I mean.  I am thinking of getting a couple  for my self and cut the collar, so it will be a boat collar, as we call it in the Netherlands, what you call it again in English? White t’shirt, jeans and Stan Smith are staples at our house for J + D. Photo:  adult small.

Raffia/Straw bags. Got my first straw bag when I was 9 years old, while at the straw market at Nassau, Bahamas. Not sure if my fascination for straw bags started there. These with Neon paint, are great wall decor as is, spotted in a store.

Bill Cunningham, his documentary. So so satisfying, to get a peak in someone extraordinary Life. Life qualities  are so different in his life, from today’s life what our children get exposed to. Real life, again, has so little to do with money. I feel I am moving more and more into my life, a greater discovery that has started since my mom passed. Life why are we here? is on my mind and at the same time….. Life is a marvel that makes Me Me, more and more everyday.  Love my little Family, my friends, simple good food, practice kindness, forgiveness and experience the unknown, dare to try, to dream, to do, and to just be. Ermie, is not her own name ,but the name of her blog. We have been following each others blog. She in LA I am here Seattle. We had a good time, with real conversation last month at Oddfellows  when we met for the 1st time.  I walked away feeling how life is so interesting, how rich it can be, which has nothing to do with money but all with rich energy, kindness, people. I do love people. Yesterday I received  in the mail, a lovely card, a piece of “Ermie’s” designed fabric. and a book of her husband Art Work | Tomory Dodge. I admired his painting before with out knowing he was her husband.  THANK YOU ! we will meet again, I know….. xoxo
